02. What is the objective of offering supply chain services to national governments?

We offer these services, so that they can use their own financial resources and/or donor funds to procure life-saving essential supplies for SRHR. It is an integrated component of UNFPA’s country programmes of cooperation and has become an important entry point for UNFPA in helping countries strengthen their national capacity in planning for supply needs, selection of supplies and equipment, and their effective delivery and distribution.
