Intended use:
Providing training in the insertion (and removal) of a lubricated catheter into the bladder through the female urethra and sphincter.
Technical specifications:
Anatomically accurate life-like simulator consisting of either transparent female abdomen or skin like cover with internal organs of the lower pelvis, urethra, bladder uterus, colon.
Allows for the visualisation of the internal organs including pressure and resistance when a lubricated catheter is passed through the urethra and sphincter into the bladder.
Realistically moulded external genitalia and perineum, labia majora, labia minora, clitoris, urethral opening and vaginal introitus to allow for spreading the labia and identification of the urethral opening.
