Product description:
Simulator, premature infant care, dark complexion. Simulator is used to facilitate learning preterm infant care, including thermal care and feeding support such as exclusive breastfeeding, alternative oral feeding and enteral feeding with nasogastric tube.

Specifications:
Simulator consists of a dark skin manikin, that has an appearance and size of approximately 32 weeks old premature infant.
Can be used to practice:
1. Skin-to-skin care
2. Breastfeeding - proper positioning and attachment.
3. Intragastric tube placement
4. Cup feeding
Texture of the simulator: soft and smooth, friction free to demonstrate the desired procedures. Realistically sculpted to resemble and simulate a premature infant, feeling smooth / resilient / bony as relevant and suitable for simulation.
Material of the simulator: Polyurethane, poly vinyl chloride (free from phthalate plasticizers), silicone rubber, synthetic and natural rubber, other materials as specified by the manufacturer (refer to Conformity and Regulatory requirements included in the Bidding Documents). The composition of any fabric used in this simulator specified by the manufacturer.
It is acknowledged design and capability of different simulators may vary therefore the manufacturer must state component parts, functionality and capability of the simulator supplied. May include simulation of foetal heart, as well as abdominal sounds and internal components that demonstrate when the lungs are functioning.
Materials and component parts: withstand extremes of temperature up to 45' Celsius and humid conditions.

- Size of carton: Modularized based on EUR1 size pallet: 1200 mm (L) x 800 mm (W) x 1200 mm (H incl. pallet.)
Strength of carton: For storage and handling the following minimum values should be met: Corrugated carton in BC profile (7 mm), with edgewise crush resistance value 15 or more in temperate climate and at least half that in tropical climate (90% humidity and 40°C), measured according to SIS 84 30 03 (Swedish Standard) or similar
