INTENDED USE
Infant radiant warmers are commonly used to provide thermal support for newborns in the delivery suite, for critically ill infants who require constant nursing intervention, and for infants undergoing treatment that prolongs exposure to a cool environment.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION / TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS The Warmer is used to assist premature babies maintaining the appropriate body temperature.
System: control unit, a heating pad, a mattress and an inflatable frame
Self-diagnosis with each startup
Integrity testing of all system parameters every 5 minute
Flexible waterproof low voltage heating pad slides under mattress
Electronic servo temperature control
Pre-set temperature range of mattress 35 to 38C, increments 0.1C
Accuracy temperature control +/-0.1C
Automatic warm-up to 37C, time to stabilize approximately 20 minutes (starting at 20C)
Large colour display shows operational status, with set and measured values
System reports, with audio-visual alerts on high/low temperature, malfunctions (temperature sensor, connecting wires), water level, power failure, built-in backup battery
Strong soft plastic mattress fills with water, approximately 4.5L
Reusable inflatable frame keeps baby in place
Cotton cover frame can be tightly secured around the water mattress and heating pad
Fit with connector for standard YSI skin temperature sensor
Power requirements 110/230V, 50/60Hz, of battery 12 of 24V
Power consumption, approximately 20W (depending on ambient temperature)
